Whereas, The Bell and Dorje set represents the perfect union of wisdom and compassion. The bell and dorje are used as ritual items in meditation practice, retreats and ceremonies along with other musical instruments, mudra hand gestures and dance. The bell or drilbu is the feminine aspect or the perfection of wisdom, which directly realizes emptiness. The dorje or vajra represents the male aspect, as method or skillful means, the indestructible nature of the absolute. Together they symbolize the blessing mandala of a practitioner’s main yidam deity.
