MEDICINE BUDDHA THANKA:- The Medicine Buddha is the Buddha of healing. He represents the healing aspect of the Shakyamuni Buddha. The Medicine Buddha is blue in color in all emanations. The Medicine Buddha is depicted holding a healing herb, Myrobalan, in his hand. In his left hand the Medicine Buddha has an ambrosia plant. The mantra associated with the Medicine Buddha is 'tayata, om, bekandzeh maha-bekandzeh, radza samungateh. soha.' The Medicine Buddha cures diseases and heals us from the affects of bad karma. This thangka was made in Nepal by our great artist.
