MASTERPIECE GREEN TARA STATUE 8”:-  This is a Masterpiece statue of Green Tara  made by our renowned artist of Nepal.This statue is copper oxidized. The statue is fully hand carved and is highly decorated.

Tara (Sanskrit, "star") is a Buddhist goddess and boddhisattva. She is characterized by her compassion and is especially popular in Tibet, Nepal and other Asian countries. Tara was born out of the tears of compassion of the bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara. It is said that he wept as he looked upon the world of suffering beings, and his tears formed a lake in which a lotus sprung up. When the lotus opened, the goddess Tara was revealed.

The Green Tara was born from his right eye. Green Tara, with her half-open lotus, represents the night, Green Tara embodies virtuous activity. Together, the Green and White Taras symbolize the unending compassion of the goddess who labors day and night to relieve suffering.
